Shay not only competed in the U19W4x at the World Rowing Championships, she also raced with Dean Burton in the U19Mixed2x. They progressed to the B Final where they finished strong in first place today. Congratulations, Shay and Dean! 🇺🇸 And best of luck to Dean as he heads to Cornell as part of the men’s lightweight team.

Caleb has added another medal to his collection! He leaves the Canadian Henley with a silver in the U17M4x AND the U17M2x. Congratulations to Caleb and Peter for their impressive 7:01 finish today. Way to go Potomac Boat Club—2nd place out of a field of 48 entries!

USA’s W4x progressed to the B Final and finished 12th overall at the 2026 World Rowing U19 Championships. What an experience for Shay and her teammates to travel to Bulgaria and compete among the world’s best! Well done! 🇺🇸

Our final Learn to Row session is in the books! Thank you to Coach Harry, Coach Brian, and Coach Ilianna for making our summer sessions a success. We also couldn’t have done it without our CVCR teammates who volunteered their time to help out. We hope to see everyone on the water in the fall!
