A look at how the ODU Baseball stadium is coming along! I'm sure the players and coaches wish it was finished now, but for us fans, we can't use it until the middle of February anyway, and it will be complete by then. The seats immediately completely change how the stands look. The facade from 43rd street is going to look gorgeous. You can see where they're working on the entrance from Elkhorn to Rally Alley and you can start to imagine what the boxes behind home plate will look like. As the new pressbox is being enclosed you can really see how amazing this park is going to look and what a complete transformation it really is.

ODU Baseball alum John Holobetz made a splash in his return to Norfolk, allowing 1 run while striking out 6 in 5.2 innings in his AAA debut for the Worcester Red Sox at Harbor Park! 7-30-26

ODU fans! Get out to Harbor Park Thursday night to watch ODU Baseball alum John Holobetz make his AAA debut, starting for the Worcester Red Sox against Norfolk Tides!

Peninsula Pilots Baseball went into the bottom of the 9th on 7-18-26 trailing High Point-Thomasville 5-4. With one out, Mikey Urbaniak and Lee Sowers walked, then a Reece Moody RBI single tied the game at 5. An intentional walk to Henry Garcia Jr set up an Efrain Morales walkoff single (that would have been a 3 run double otherwise) to secure the 6-5 Pilots win! The Pilots have won 10 of their last 11 games!

Congrats to Bailey Matela on signing a pro contract with the Washington Wild Things! After an outstanding 4 years with ODU Baseball, the Norfolk native will start his pro career with fellow ODU alum Kyle Edwards!

Congrats to Hunter Baynes on signing with the St Louis Cardinals! Hunter is an amazing human being and I was lucky I got to spend a ton of quality BP outfield time with him with ODU Baseball. Extremely excited to see him get his career started!

Congrats to Grayson Fitzwater on being drafted in the 13th round by the Chicago White Sox!
