Today our cross country team competed in a very HOT invitational. We are incredibly proud of each and every runner and the effort they gave. Our medal winners included - Johnny, Aria, Emmilyn, and Haddie. Way to go Bulldogs! 🐾

📣 Vicksburg Cross Country Meet Highlights from the MSU Spartan Invite! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Great performances across the board from both the Vicksburg boys and girls cross country teams!

Boys Team & Individual Highlights
The Vicksburg boys team finished 9th overall in the team standings with 227 points in the Elite Race.

Caiden Caswell (Sr.) led the boys squad, placing 16th overall with a time of 16:41.3. Hunter Smith (Sr.) took 22nd place overall, clocking in at 16:48.7. Grayson Campbell (Sr.) secured 37th place in 17:23.9. Aro Smith (So.) set a personal best (PB) time of 18:41.7, placing 93rd. Dexter Parsons (Fr.) finished 95th overall in 18:43.7.
Carson Summerfield (Sr.) crossed the line in 103rd place at 18:52.9. Brighton Lam (Jr.) earned a season best (SB) of 19:01.7 for 108th place. Isaac Sandelin (Sr.) finished 122nd in 19:38.9. Drew Roiniotis (Sr.) took 142nd place with a time of 21:37.2. Logan Smith (Jr.) placed 145th overall in 22:55.0. Logan Strong (Fr.) finished 146th in 23:01.7. Landyn Witherell (Jr.) placed 147th with a time of 25:45.5.

Girls Team & Individual Highlights
The Vicksburg girls team took 16th place overall in the team standings with 453 points in the Bronze Race.

Kenna Koole (So.) paced the girls team, placing 28th overall in 21:08.6. Ronja Schuett (Jr.) finished 43rd overall with a time of 21:51.6. Renna Caswell (Jr.) earned 148th place, crossing the finish line in 24:59.6. Julia Shook (So.) achieved a season best (SB) of 25:18.7 in 157th place. Callia Hawkins (So.) placed 167th overall in 25:35.4. Malena Dickerson (So.) logged a personal best (PB) of 26:36.3 for 185th place. Harper Bolton (So.) ran a season best (SB) of 26:48.9, taking 190th place. Cloe Nickols (Sr.) set a personal best (PB) of 27:21.8 in 196th. Paige Brush (Jr.) finished 208th with a time of 28:58.2. Emery Gose (So.) completed the race in 213th place at 29:21.5. Corinne Malocha (Jr.) placed 226th overall in 31:02.6.

Our athletes of the meet from Under the Lights at Grand Rapids South Christian feature Julia, Ronja, Ashton, and Logan!

Julia dropped almost a minute and a half from her race at Rustbuster! Ronja join the team from Germany and ran a speedy 21:00 in her debut race! Ashton dropped almost four minutes from Rustbuster! Logan improved his time from Rustbuster by over a minute and a half! Way to go, Bulldogs!

Athletes of the meet from the South Haven Rustbuster feature Kenna, Allison, Dexter, and Logan!

Kenna led our girls with a second place finish overall with an impressive time of 21:59! Allison Melnik placed 6th in her first race with a time of 23:13! Dexter placed 9th in the boys race and was the top freshman with a time of 18:01! Logan ran a strong first race and finished with a time of 23:31! Way to go, Bulldogs!
