A must attend event! It turns out one of the longest running fundraisers in Vero has neither a ticket price, a dress code, nor a silent auction.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 3. Reservations suggested for parties of five or more: 772-231-5409. No ticket required.

Since 1982, the Replogle family, who have run Ocean Grill since 1965, have dedicated one Tuesday evening each May to The Arc of Indian River County. No admission fee. No sponsorship. You make a reservation, order dinner just like any other night, and the evening's proceeds go directly to the organization supporting over 200 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the county.

For the Replogles, the evening carries an even more personal significance. John Replogle, brother to current owner Charley, has Down syndrome. He lives in a group home, gets to work via Arc transportation, and has washed pots at Ocean Grill 5 days a week for years.

Founded in 1975, The Arc now operates group homes, adult day training, supported employment, and a transition program for graduating students with special needs. The Replogles have raised money for them for so long that The Arc named its annual award after them.

Janet is a prominent figure and regular photographer for the Vero Beach Polo Club.
For years, her match photography and event captures have documented regional polo around Florida.
Alongside her husband, Danny Scheraga, she has been deeply involved in the polo ecosystem for over 40 years.

Today, as we gather to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, the Vero Beach Polo Club also takes a moment to remember the noble, silent partners who stood beside them: the war horses.
​We honor those who served in the field and the enduring symbol of the riderless horse—a poignant reminder of a warrior who will ride no more.
​At the Vero Beach Polo Club, we celebrate the bond between human and horse every day. Today, that bond is one of profound gratitude and remembrance.

ARC FUNDRAISER NEW DATE! Wednesday June 3rd
As polo players and fans, we’re no strangers to unexpected weather calling a sudden audible. Last week, our friends over at The Ocean Grill faced a historic downpour of their own during the ARC of Indian River County Fundraising Night—4 inches of rain in a flash!
Unfortunately, an undetected clogged drainage pipe on the roof decided to bring the party into the back bar area. But just like a true champion team, the Ocean Grill crew rallied, cleared the field, resolved the issue, and reopened the very next day. As they say over there, "where the unusual truly is commonplace!"
We aren’t letting a little Florida downpour stop us from supporting the incredible work that ARC does in our community. The fundraising night has officially been rescheduled, and we want to see the Vero Beach Polo Club family out in full force to support them!
