Watsonville, CA

Nick Leonard Jr made his debut in the Western Midget Racing (WMR) series on Friday night at Watsonville Speedway.

Nick started last in his heat race, but worked his way to the front picking up his first WMR heat race win. He then rolled off third in the main event and brought it home with a solid 4th place finish.

This was Nickโ€™s first race with the Boscacci Racing Team, owned by Tony Boscacci. It was a great night of racing, learned a lot and looking forward to building on this momentum heading into race 2 at Antioch Speedway on Saturday April 4th.

Huge thank you to Tony Boscacci and Anthony Bruno for all their hard work on the car, and to James Vargas and the entire team for all the support.
