Wow, what a week it’s been for the Spencer Makenzie’s Throwdown!
We kicked things off with our annual warm up at Seaward Brewing, then took it back to the streets at Spencer Makenzie’s in Ventura for the Pre-Bash! Almost 200 players battled through a 2 game RR into SE! What an awesome night! Everyone loved being back on the streets where it all started.
Huge shout out to Jerry & Jaime Lopez with Bag Habits for the awesome drone footage. You guys did an incredible job capturing the night and getting it over to us. That’s what this co****le community is all about supporting each other!
Then it was on to the EPIC weekend at the Ventura County Fairgrounds for the Throwdown! John and David continue to put their hearts into this event, working endless days and hours year after year alongside the ACL to make it happen.
And then there’s the Mega Blind Draws! We’ve had the privilege of running the blind draws for John for the past few years, and we couldn’t do it without our incredible crew. They show up, work hard, and somehow still love every minute of the craziness!
Thank you to everyone who played, helped, supported us, stopped by, and showed us so much appreciation throughout the weekend. Hearing all the thank yous and positive feedback truly means a lot to our entire crew.

What a day for the ladies!

The All Girls Tournament was a blast! Huge shoutout to Sara with She Throws 805 for teaming up with Santa Paula Co****le Baggers and making it a fun, smooth day of bags!

Loved seeing all the ladies from Bakersfield, The Valley, and the 805 come together, throwing some bags, compete, laugh, and just have a good time!
