Big farewell to our girl Sarah Henson who begins the next chapter of her life back in Aus, we’ll miss you TERRIBLY!

Going back in time a little but HAD to take a moment to acknowledge someone really special in our club and our player of the month for April. Our girl Georgia Tassier

We have been so excited that Georgia has been able to come to Santa Monica Spirits since moving closer and that we get to see more of her. She’s always been in the fold and has played with us at many a tournament for many years, but getting to play with her regularly and really feel her as a permanent member of the club has been so special.

Georgia has always been SUCH a skilled Goal Shooter. A beautiful holder, mover and with such a beautiful shot. She’s extremely hard to defend and read and goes about her business with such a cool head.
What has been so cool these past couple of months is watching her give a whole other end of the court a go. But not just a go, Georgia has been a real defensive threat as she takes the GK bib for a run. She has a gorgeous hold and reads the play beautifully.

Whatever end of the court she’s on, her presence is felt and makes such an impact. We look forward to seeing what else she can do! C next perhaps?

A very muggy (but great) Saturday morning of netty!

Well done to all today for getting stuck in to some full court drills as we continue to work on our defense, and getting those heart rates going!

And game play was awesome. Just some really nice things happening all the way up and down the court! Well done to everyone!

Another glorious netball morning at Santa Monica! 🌴

Great session today as we launched in to some defense work for this month! Everyone dove right in, worked hard and did a great job, all that we could see during game time as well!

Some new faces, some old faces - we love all of it!
