Melina DeFelice commits to University of Pitt Johnstown to be a Mountain Cat!! We are so excited for Melina on the opportunity to play softball and continue her academics at UPJ a Division II school located in Johnstown, PA and competing in the PSAC West Conference!

Melina is a 2027 and plays for Team PA Mendel 18u, she attends Baldwin HS. Melina is a RHP, she keeps hitters off balance and she will do well for UPJ! Melina will be studying Business and Enterprise while at UPJ!

Melina your hard work and dedication has paid off in the biggest way, achieving your goal of playing collegiate softball while getting a great education! Team PA 10U (Coach Covalt) is looking to add 2 players to the 2026/27 roster. We're running lean at 10 total players currently.

Our fall schedule is set, with practices and tournaments totaling at least 2 team events per week.

Our winter indoor schedule is also in place — we'll be at both AHN Sports Complex in Coraopolis and BAT 24 in Robinson weekly.

We have three fall tournaments scheduled along with a round robin, and we're looking to add 2-3 indoor winter tournaments.

My personal goal is to build a culture of growth and competitiveness.

I have 12 years of softball coaching experience, on staffs ranging from 6U rec ball up through 18U travel — and that's just me. Our assistant staff also brings experience from rec and travel coaching, along with college playing experience.

Coaching = Teaching — that's the mindset our current staff lives by.

Kennedy Brown commits to Gannon University to be a Golden Knight!! We are so excited for KB on the opportunity to play softball and continue her academics at Gannon a Division II school located in Erie, PA and competing in the PSAC West Conference!

Kennedy is a 2027 and plays for Team PA Toal 18u, she attends North Catholic HS. KB is a RHP and a true UTL player, she will be a huge asset to the Golden Knights! She also bro nos a consistent bat to their lineup! KB will be studying to be a Physicians Assistant while at Gannon!

What a way to kick off the season! 🔥The girls went 3-1 at the Back 2 School Bash, bringing home a 3rd place finish! It was our first weekend back at it, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day on the field. The energy was high, the competition was tough, and our girls came ready to compete! 💪🥎

We were honored to share the field with some of the best teams and competition around. A huge thank you to the Ohio Lasers for allowing us to be a part of such a great event and an awesome way to get back on the dirt!
