The Y is a nonprofit like no other. That’s because in 10,000 neighborhoods across the nation, we
10% chaos, 90% fun, 100% worth it.

Last week’s Picnic in the Park was our final one of the season. 💙
Ridgefield has a way of turning lunch into something more. Thanks to Musicians in the Park, families linger, kids play, neighbors connect, and the community comes together.
This summer, we were honored to serve more than 1,600 families in Ridgefield alone. Thank you to Safeway and Dave's Killer Bread for helping make this program possible and for investing in our community.
Until next summer, Ridgefield.

🚨 Egg Drop Results 🚨
After a room full of brainstorming, building, testing, and a whole lot of creative mess, it was finally time for our Invent It, Build It campers to put their egg drop designs to the test.
The best part? Every drop was a chance to learn, problem-solve, and have fun.
👇 Tell us: Were you right about which egg would survive?
Whose egg will survive?🥚
Our Invent It, Build It campers put their engineering skills to the test during an egg drop challenge. From homemade parachutes to creative cushioning systems, these young inventors were all-in on protecting their eggs. And yes, the room got gloriously messy along the way.
That's what summer camp is for: experimenting, creating, failing, learning, and having fun.
🥚 Now place your bets... which design do you think survived the drop? Watch for the results video next!
What makes Picnic in the Park so special?
For our volunteers, it’s seeing children leave with smiles, connecting with families, and knowing they’re making a difference right here in our community.
Free lunches are available through August 21 at:
📍Clark County Family YMCA
📍Davis Park in Ridgefield
📍Springfield Meadows behind our Child Development Center
Thank you to our volunteers, partners, and community members who help make this program possible. We look forward to serving families the rest of the summer!
