It was nice to see so many participants for our Walk to the Fort this morning!

Olivia hosted an amazing tea party! She went all out…take a look at the macaroons, tea cups, mini sandwiches, and cupcakes! It all looks so wonderful. Great job and everything looks super cute and fun!

What a great way to start the weekend! Isaiah, thank you for planning the hike at Moultan Falls!

Jenn and Ashley spent the week camping at South Beach Campground in Newport. A wheelchair that can go in the water and sand?!! So cool!

Meet August’s GOAT, Crisi Eby! Crisi has been an incredible asset to Reside as she has held down the Longview/Kelso fort as we expand our program north.

Crisi never hesitates to help a fellow employee and often volunteers to assist in Vancouver despite living in Longview! She’s been a real team player and someone we’ve all come to rely on.

She’s also led by example and participated on Reside’s kick ball team in the Red Rubber Showdown in Portland!

Keep up the great work, Crisi!!

Congrats to the Reside athletes who competed in this weekend’s Summer Special Olympics of Washington Regionals. Nick earned Silver in Bocce, Chass took Bronze in Softball, Steve brought home Bronze in Softball, and Hieu won Silver in Softball.

Way to go, great job, everyone!

It’s been over a decade, maybe even longer, since Reside last participated in the Red Rubber Showdown, the annual kickball tournament hosted by Underdog Portland. Thanks to all of the DSPs, House Managers (especially those covering on call), and Admin staff who came out and represented Reside at this year’s event. It was a fantastic turnout, and best of all, everyone made it through without injuries.

Also, thank you to all the friends and families who came out and supported the team. Your energy and encouragement made the day even better.

A huge thank you to Isaiah Emerson for hosting and leading Reside’s return to the Red Rubber Showdown, and to Dustin McDonald for the amazing photo shoot. What a great way to bring Reside back into the fun this year.

Kiara has proven her tenacity and grit by not only showing up for the most difficult and challenging days but also motivating others around her to do the same. She has put her clients before herself at times. For that I am grateful and so are the clients and staff who get to work with her day in and day out!
