In two days, people will start arriving at Riffel's for the first annual Larkin Liles Music Festival.

There will be music.

There will be campers.

There will be campfires.

There will be people sitting beside Kinniconick Creek listening to bands play.

But this festival also carries a name and a story tied to this place.

Larkin Liles lived here.

His story is part of the history of Kinniconick.

And this weekend, we're starting something new while remembering something that came before us.

We hope years from now there are people who can say:

“I was there for the first one.”
