Well-deserved, Parker!

Congratulations to Van's Parker Rainey for earning State Farm Player of the Week vs Carter! Parker was a contributor on both sides of the ball this past Friday. Offensively, he had 148 all purpose yards, 70 yards rushing on only 7 carries, and 78 yards receiving with 2 receptions! Defensively, he had 7 tackles and 2 of them for loss. Congratulations again, and good luck this week vs Lindale!

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️❤️ BIG RESULTS FROM A BIG MEET! ❤️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Our Vandal Cross Country runners took on a HUGE field of competitors in Sulphur Springs Friday and Saturday, and we had some outstanding individual finishes! 🔥

👏 Josh Diaz — 12th out of 254 runners!

Our Van Junior High girls also had a GREAT day on the course, with three Vandals finishing in the Top 25 out of 224 runners! ❤️

🏃‍♀️ Sydney Diaz — 16th of 224
🏃‍♀️ Claire Calloway — 25th of 224

Those are some impressive finishes in a field that large! We’re proud of ALL of our runners for competing hard, gaining experience, and continuing to get better each time they step on the course. 💪

🏐💛 FIRST DISTRICT WIN — FOR SOMETHING BIGGER THAN VOLLEYBALL! 💛🏐

What a special night in Vandal Land! ❤️

We opened district play with a WIN over Kemp, but tonight was about so much more than what happened on the court.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to wear gold, support families, honor survivors, remember those we have lost, and raise awareness for the fight against childhood cancer. 🎗️

Before our varsity match, Jennifer and Everlee Smith shared their family's childhood cancer story with us. We are incredibly grateful for their willingness to stand before our Vandal family and share a story that reminds us exactly why this fight matters. 💛

Our girls took the court wearing yellow ribbons in their hair as a small but meaningful show of support for the children and families who are still in the fight.

Tonight, we celebrated a district victory. But more importantly, we stood together for something much bigger than volleyball.

💛 No child fights alone.
