Van Buren Girls Varsity Golf defeats Bowling Green, 186-229 at the Bowling Green Country Club.

Van Buren Volleyball sweeps Pandora-Gilboa in BVC action. JV starts the night with a 2-0 win. Varsity finished it off with a 3-0 victory. The Black Knights will travel to Leipsic on Monday. Freshmen start at 4:30 PM.

🏆 BVC CHAMPIONS! 🏆

The Van Buren Black Knights are BVC CHAMPIONS once again!

With a 310 in today’s final round, the Knights finished with a THREE-DAY TOTAL OF 942, securing their 5TH STRAIGHT BVC CHAMPIONSHIP! 🔥🔥🔥

And what a way to lead the charge…

💥 Jake Schroeder fired a NEW SCHOOL RECORD 65 (-7) to claim his third BVC Player of the Year! An absolutely incredible performance!

The Knights were also paced by our First Team All-BVC selections:
Peyton Beilharz — 79
Andrew Hibbard — 79

Our Second Team All-BVC selections:
Nick Reinhart — 87
Luke Grady— 87

And earning Honorable Mention All-BVC:

Congratulations to Van Buren Senior Jake Schroeder, who made history today! 🧡🖤

Jake fired an incredible 65 at Moose Landing Country Club, breaking the previous school record of 67, set in 1983 by Van Buren Hall of Famer Doug Martin!

And that’s not all — Jake also captured BVC PLAYER OF THE YEAR honors! 🏆

What an accomplishment! Congratulations, Jake! ⛳️🧡🖤

Head Boys & Girls Track Coach

Van Buren Local Schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to serve as the Head Boys & Girls Track Coach for the upcoming season.

The successful candidate will provide leadership for both the boys and girls track programs while developing student-athletes through strong coaching, positive relationships, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities include:

Lead and oversee the boys and girls track programs
Develop student-athletes athletically, academically, and personally
Build a positive, competitive, and team-oriented culture
Work collaboratively with assistant coaches, student-athletes, families, and school administration
Promote the values and traditions of Van Buren Athletics

Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and resume to Van Buren Local Schools. Coaching experience and/or appropriate track and field experience is preferred.
