What a weekend. So many great things happened only to be capped off by having two of our students names as competitors of the year, as well as Soaring Eagles being chosen as UWTA School of the Year.

Hardwork, perseverance, and faith in God pays off. Very thankful this morning.

Today Dora defeated two higher ranks to win first place in her division. In fact she defeated a competitor she has lost too several times.

After receiving their trophies the other competitors refused to stand on the podium which is a tradition in competition. No worries, Dora we are proud of you and I know your Dad in heaven would be overjoyed. You are an overcomer.

UWTA Nationals in Reno last night. Congratulations to all who competed and especially to new national champion Gonzalo Castaneda and two time back 2 back champion Talia Gratton.

There were some very exciting sparring matches and tough forms competition. Some of our students came up a little short but they will be back next year.

Great night of testing last night in Reno. The Eagles soared high. Still work to do but you made us proud.
