We are incredibly proud to congratulate Jade Campbell on being selected as the 2026 U12 Girls David Dahms Sportsmanship Award recipient at the Junior Gold Championships!

And what makes this accomplishment even more special? This is Jade’s SECOND YEAR IN A ROW receiving this honor! 🏆🏆

Being recognized once for sportsmanship, leadership, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm is an incredible honor. To be selected two years in a row speaks volumes about the kind of competitor and young person Jade is, both on and off the lanes.

Jade continues to represent Jac’s Juniors, Valdosta, and South Georgia exceptionally well on the national stage, and we couldn’t be prouder of her! ❤️🎳

🎳 Georgia State USBC Annual Jamboree is Almost Here! 🎳

As part of this year’s Jamboree, there are several great opportunities for our youth bowlers and their families to get involved throughout the weekend. Check out the flyer below for youth tournament information, registration, and other activities.

We’re also excited to share that Tina Brown from USBC will be presenting a session on setting up and using SMART accounts during the Youth Awards Luncheon. This is a great opportunity for youth bowlers and their families to learn more about the SMART scholarship program.

We’re also proud to recognize our South Georgia youth bowlers who will be honored during the Jamboree for their accomplishments at the Georgia State Youth Tournament. These bowlers earned first-place finishes in Team, Doubles, Singles, All Events Scratch, or All Events Handicap, and their SMART scholarship funds have already been deposited into their accounts.

What an incredible week for our South Georgia USBC youth bowlers! No matter the final standings, each of these athletes represented our association with determination, sportsmanship, and heart. Competing against the best youth bowlers in the country is an accomplishment in itself, and we couldn’t be prouder!

🎳 Finished with a 4-round total of 2,779

🏆 U14 Girls - Avah Smith
🎳 Finished with a 4-round total of 2,201

🏆 U12 Girls - Jade Campbell
🎳 Qualified with a 4-round total of 2,640

🎉 Earned a $250 Junior Gold Scholarship!
