💙 Rebuilding and Engaging our Community

The City of Utica Youth Bureau’s REC Club Afterschool Program kicks off October 19th at the Utica Rec Center! Open to UCSD students in grades 7–12. REC Club gives students a place to connect, stay active, learn, and have fun after school!

From gym activities and arts & crafts to tutoring, field trips, monthly events, and group activities—there’s always something happening at the REC!

A place to hang out. A place to learn. A place to get involved. A place to belong.

Thank you for always showing up for our youth and helping us make sure they feel confident, supported, and cared for. We appreciate everything you continue to do for our community!

Imagine being a student worried about your shoes instead of your schoolwork. A pair of sneakers might seem like a small thing—until you're the child who needs them.

Backyard Hope has recently worked with Chet and his team at City of Utica Youth Bureau in giving away new panda dunk sneakers 👟 to students in their aftercare program.
