A big congratulations to Jacie Williams. Jacie graduated from Oral Roberts University with her bachelor’s in science in Nursing. She is currently working at Saint John Hospital in Tulsa, OK as a cardiovascular ICU nurse. We are so proud of your achievement and can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make in healthcare.

Introducing Chasiday Frazier! She recently graduated from Wingate University School of Pharmacy with her Doctorate of Pharmacy and is currently employed as a floating pharmacist for Publix Pharmacy. She told us that she really enjoyed the hands-on experience of her training but she is excited to not have to be studying so much any more and has more time to spend with her 10 month old son.
Chasidy said that she wants to thank those who helped support her on this journey; her mom, her boyfriend, and the friends she made while in school. We asked what she would tell someone considering pharmacy and she replied, "The 4 years are going to be extremely difficult but absolutely worth it in the end!"
One other bit of advice she shares is this: "It took me a lot longer to graduate than your "typical" pharmacy student. During undergrad I had to retake several classes due to lack of motivation. Then during my last year I became pregnant with my son. If I could give any advice to someone in a similar situation I would say to keep pushing. Things are going to happen in your life that make you want to quit and it's so important to not let those things affect you and to continue trying to reach your goals."
We are so proud of you and excited for your future! The fact that you kept going even when it was a struggle shows others that you can do what you set your mind and heart to!

This milestone helps me make a greater impact in the classroom and better serve our community.
