☀️ Cooling Center Available Today at Centennial Commons Due to Extreme Heat

Due to today’s extreme heat, Centennial Commons (7210 Olive Blvd.) will serve as a cooling center until 9:00 p.m. tonight for residents who need a place to cool off.

Residents are welcome to stop by Centennial Commons to escape the heat, stay hydrated, and spend time in a safe, air-conditioned facility.

The City is also aware of reports of a potential power outage affecting portions of University City. Residents experiencing a loss of power are encouraged to check with their utility provider for the latest updates.

Please remember to take precautions during extreme heat:
☀️ Drink plenty of water
☀️ Limit strenuous outdoor activities
☀️ Check on neighbors, family members, and pets
☀️ Never leave children or pets unattended in vehicles
