On May 7-8, the Rend Lake Project will host 1,600 local students for the annual Rend Lake Great Outdoors Celebration! The event takes place at the Dam West Recreation Area and Visitor Center grounds. The Dam West Boat Ramp will be closed to the public May 6-8 to accommodate bus parking. Motorists traveling on Rend City Road should proceed with caution as students navigate the event.
