HFR E46 all fixed up and even got the new carbon fiber front wing completed. Made the hall over the mountains to Moses Lake Vintage Test & Tune. Should be a great weekend of vintage exhibition. Great boat count again this year, cool to see so many vintage boats.
I am just going to take it easy, play with tuning and have some fun!!

Hill Family Racing update:
I want to thank ya'll for your comments and suggestions, I appreciate them and I do try to learn and adjust.
No surprise I have been working hard since our disappointing Western Divisionals at Pateros. The bottom repair v2 is complete, new thrust bearing, shaft seals, and threw the back-up shaft in. I pretzeled the other shaft, bent in two directions. Motor is fine, 70psi on the trailer.
I have been working all summer on the new carbon fiber front canard or wing. Its been a great learning experience and its almost done. Its not perfect but I am proud of my efforts.
I got my prop crack checking sprays on Thursday and have dye penitration checked all of my remaining props, all clear inspection.
So "with all do respect" I don't recall saying I was done for this season🙄🤣.
Entry is in for Moses Lake Vintage Test & Tune! Going to play with motor tunes from , in prep for next year, and have a blast with the vintage family. If all goes well I will likely run at Brewster for the last gas of this summer. I am on track to have participated in all region 10 inboard events this year. Winter sucks, play hard while the sun shines.🌞

Well...Luck was not on my side today. Heat 1 the boat ran great and I finished second. Heat 2 boat was running really good in second and then I felt the all too familiar deep vibration.
Second broken prop this season, same mfg, same size 🤔, bent the shaft, tore up the bottom and broke out the shaft log that I just fixed. Ugg. So glad I installed a bilge pump and moved the ecu into a waterproof box, ECU is good. The LS prop breaker motor is good too.
I think that's a wrap for HFR E46 for this year. Time to regroup and focus on 2027 and the E44.🤗

We all know what an incredibly tough fire season it has been. These volunteers leave their families, jobs, and lives behind to protect the Okanogan community when they’re needed most.

So between heats on Saturday, take a few minutes, grab lunch, pick up some Pateros Fire Rescue gear, and help us give back to the people who are always there when this community needs them.
