HUGE THANKS to our amazing volunteers who make this race possible! It takes ~75 volunteers, many who wake up before 3am to spend their entire Sunday morning supporting our runners. Equipment set up, packet pickup, finish line support, stocking coolers / food, aid stations, and even had a few patrolling the course in case anyone needed assistance. The Tupelo Marathon & 14er would not happen without you!

Also thanks to Best Times for their support of TRC races. Master Grafix for designing the best logos & shirts year after year. Dwayne Blackmon Chevrolet, Tupelo Coca-Cola, Mitchell Distributing, Fastenal, Transport Trailer Services, Core, Fleet Feet, and Duncan Signs are all long time supporters. Special thanks to Fashion Apparel and Snap Fitness for allowing us to take over their backyard for the weekend, Chesterville Grocery and BSK Resources for letting us set up the much appreciated bathroom stops on their property. And thanks to the City of Tupelo Public Works Department, Tupelo Police Department, Lee County Sheriff’s office and Pontotoc County Sheriff’s office for helping keep the roads safe for everyone.

It truly takes a community to put on an event like this, and we appreciate all those who help out!

Wow, y’all are incredible! Over 270 runners hit the streets in Tupelo yesterday on one of the hottest days of 2026. From the Tupelo Running Club - THANK YOU for continuing to Trample the Weak & Hurdle the Dead with us every Labor Day weekend. Hope you had a great morning despite the heat and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

Thanks to everyone who picked up packets today. Packets can also be picked up from 3:45am - 4:45.

Race starts at 5am sharp. Starting line is 1/4 mile from where you picked up packets today. Finish line is located directly in front of the packet pickup area.

The heat will be BRUTAL tomorrow. Hydrate tonight, and early / often tomorrow. Take plenty of time at our aid stations and please let our volunteers know if you need medical assistance.

Almost race day! Some important announcements in preparation for this weekend.

- Packet pickup will be Saturday September 5, from 1pm - 5pm. SEE YOUR EMAIL FOR MORE INSTRUCTIONS. Packets may also be picked up race morning from 4am - 4:45am. We highly recommend picking up Saturday if at all possible.

- We ask that you do not park in front of Snap Fitness or Fashion Apparel as these businesses will be open Saturday and Sunday. There should be ample parking in the lot west of the finish area.

- Tupelo is currently under a Heat Advisory. It will be very hot and humid Sunday morning, especially once the sun comes up. Please take extra precautions to be hydrated before and during the race. We will have 6 aid stations for the 14er and 11 for the marathon. Note the first aid station is not until approximately 3.4 miles

- The course will be OPEN to traffic. Please stay alert at all times.

- You will be running on rural county roads and it will be DARK for at least the first hour. You may consider bringing a flashlight or headlamp.

- There is a 6 hour time limit.
