A big congratulations to our Executive Director, Emily Burk, on being named a recipient of the USTA 35x35 President’s Impact Award!

This national award recognizes 35 grassroots leaders, coaches, and organizations making a meaningful impact on the growth of tennis across the country, and we can’t think of anyone more deserving.

Emily works tirelessly behind the scenes to grow First Serve Tulsa, but what makes her so special is that you’ll find her on court just as often, sharing her love of tennis directly with the kids we serve.

We believe tennis can build confidence, resilience, teamwork, connection, and lifelong skills. Emily lives that mission every day and is a wonderful influence in the lives of so many young people in our community.

We had a GREAT time hosting the Oklahoma Senior Games at LaFortune this week! 🎾🏅

We were thrilled to welcome players from all across Oklahoma, as well as Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana!

The best part? All Oklahoma players who competed qualified for the 2027 National Senior Games right here in Tulsa! 🎉 Next June/July, Tulsa will welcome approximately 13,000 senior athletes for 10 days of competition! What an incredible event that will be!

We’re so proud to have been part of the Oklahoma Senior Games and loved watching so many athletes compete, make new friends and enjoy the sport we all love.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our Wimbledon Wooden Racquet Mixer. It was a fantastic way to celebrate one of tennis’s greatest traditions! Thanks for making it such a memorable event. We can’t wait to do it again!
