While there were no widespread damage reports from this weekend's storm, you may still find yourself with a few extra limbs. If this is you, there are several ways to get rid of them:
**Primary Gray Trash Cart** If it Fits, That's it. Any extra capacity in your primary trash cart can be used for bagged yard waste. If it fits with the lid completely closed, that's all you need to do. Yard waste can only be placed in your primary gray trash cart. Yard waste placed in the blue cart will not be collected.
**Curbside Pickup** You may bundle smaller, lighter limbs together and leave them on the curb on your normal trash day at no extra cost. Bundles should be no larger than 2-feet across and 5-feet long, must be placed at the curb, and should NEVER be placed below power lines, over water meter cans, or in the street and/or over curb and gutter systems.
Bundles more than 40 pounds will require a scheduled Bulky Waste Pickup, which is $10 per 8 cubic yards. Information about scheduling a bulky waste pickup can be found online at: www.cityoftulsa.org/bulkywaste
**Extra Greenwaste** If you have extra greenwaste that doesn't fit in your cart and can't be bundled, you may bag it in a transparent bag and place it at the curb at no extra cost.
Combined, households may place a total of 15 of these transparent bags and/or curbside bundles at the curb on your primary collection day (e.x. 15 bags only, or 7 bags and 8 bundles).
**Mulch Site** You can also drop off greenwaste free of charge at the City of Tulsa's Mulch Site at 2100 N. 145th E. Ave. Hours are Monday-Tuesday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday: CLOSED, Thursday-Saturday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

If it tangles, it doesn’t belong in your recycling cart. Anything that can wrap around your wrist Is considered a tangler item.
Garden hoses, string lights, extension cords, and other long or flexible items jam recycling machines and can shut down sorting lines.
These belong in the gray cart—not the blue cart.
