Grandmaster Kang's Taekwondo Tulsa

Grandmaster Kang's Taekwondo Tulsa Grandmaster Kang's TaeKwon-Do is Tulsa’s original TaeKwon-Do school! We’ve been helping our world return to authenticity through discipline since 1971.

Welcome to Kang's Institute of TaeKwon-Do, Tulsa’s original TaeKwon-Do school! We offer a clean, safe environment for men, women, and children to practice all tenants of Tae Kwon-do. Kang's Institute of TaeKwon-Do has been helping our world return to authenticity through discipline for over 40 years. Our mission is to serve as an educational learning center for practicing the fundamental principles of life. We believe that it’s important for children to establish and take control of their own lives by practicing good habits and making the right choices from early on. We also believe that in order to make this happen, parents must set a good example. If children are expected to learn respect, discipline, diet, and exercise, their parents must also practice the same thing in their own lives. For that reason, it makes sense to practice TaeKwon-Do as a family. By having the right synergy between instructor and parent, there is no limit to a child's success. We are committed to the education of not only youngsters, but the entire family. TaeKwon-Do is not only about self-defense, but the lifelong pursuit of character development and self mastery. Discipline is the most powerful asset in life. It’s never too late to do the right thing. Start our program today and join us on our journey to create leaders for a better tomorrow!

THE DAWNING OF A NEW ERA IS UPON US

Several years ago, we created a 501(c)(3) church to support the outreaches we host and our future plans to help the community. That future is now here. The 2,000-square-foot space south of the main dojang has been rearranged and remodeled to host a faith-based after-school program.
The program allows students to be transported from school to the dojang, where they receive a free meal, taekwondo training, worship songs, a message about Jesus, and time for games. Our 501(c)(3), The Rock Foundation, has partnered with multiple organizations to provide resources such as food, clothing, backpacks, and other essentials when students need them.
The entire program is free for the children and is hosted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We launched it this week, and things are going smoothly and as planned. What an exciting time!
TOUCHING HEARTS AND CHANGING LIVES ONE DAY AT A TIME.
