SPL SCISSORTAILS - 9U HC

Coach Owen Bailor brings a strong passion for baseball, leadership, and mentorship to his role as head coach of the Scissortails 9U team. A graduate of Bixby High School, Owen played all four years of his high school baseball career before continuing on to play collegiate baseball at Oral Roberts University for two years.

Following his playing career, Owen pursued a career of service and is currently a certified EMT and volunteer firefighter while working toward a position with a paid fire department near his hometown. His experiences both on the field and in public service have helped shape his leadership style, work ethic, and commitment to helping young athletes grow both as players and as individuals.

Although his playing career was cut short, Owen’s love for the game has never faded. As head coach, he is passionate about creating a positive and competitive environment where players can develop their baseball skills, build confidence, and grow their love for the game.

More importantly, Owen is committed to helping shape his players into respectful, disciplined, and hardworking young men both on and off the field. He is excited to lead the Scissortails 9U team and looks forward to helping this group grow together throughout the season.
