Another 2600 'vader' recently came in for cleaning, refurbishment, repairs, and to receiver a Lumacode upgrade via the TIAdigitizer. Lumacode provides for a full digital 1080P HMDI output with audio from original consoles when paired with an RGB2HDMI converter or high end scaler with Lumacode support. This 2600 received new capacitors, new voltage regulator, switch cleaning, and a replacement player 1 difficulty switch.

This was the first Atari 5200 for 2026 and it received a Lumacode upgrade! Lumacode is one of the best output options that is currently available and with the RGB2HDMI converter to make use and decode the Lumacode signal, provides a full HDMI output picture with audio making it very easy to use these classic consoles on modern displays.

Another front loader NES arrived last week to the ITC for new capacitors, expanded audio added, a Lumacode upgrade, and to have a Nin10drawer installed in place of the original cartridge tray mechanism. It came together nicely!

Lumacode on the 5200 is really amazing to see in person. But in the meantime, here is a direct capture of Lumacode from a 5200 through the RGB2HDMI converter for full digital HDMI video and audio...
Lumacode setups are getting claimed pretty quickly. Here is what is currently available from those I've reached out to and have confirmed with me on their setups to lock them in:
3x = STICdigitizer used for Intellivision Lumacode
1x = MARIAdigitizer used for Atari 7800 Lumacode
GTIA = for 5200 and Atari 8-bit Lumacode
Yeap that is pretty much it for now. If anything changes, I will post updates so setups can be claimed.
Just a quick message to folks on what I currently have left on my Lumacode inventory that I can install into consoles. Some of the items from my last order are already reserved so if you were interested in getting a console done with Lumacode, now is the time to reach out and let me know so I can reserve a setup for you:

I also currently have about a dozen ready to go RGB2HDMI starter kits that I can provide for those new to Lumacode that might not have a means to use Lumacode currently with their AV setups. That said, there has been a lot of progress on the RetroTink 4k and OSSC Pro in their Lumacode support over the past few weeks. Though I cannot test for that myself personally as I don't own either of those scalers in my AV setup currently.

This is only the second 2609 model Intellivision to come in for services this year. This one received a full work up with new capacitors and a few other new components. Also an RGB upgrade using a 9pin mini din. I hadn't done an RGB upgrade in an Intellivision in some time as most requests had been Lumacode. Kind of a nice change for once.
