Hicks Park Community Center

Last week was a blast at S.T.E.A.M Camp! Our campers learned a ton about science, technology, engineering, art, and math! 🔭🎨📐💚

Each day focused on one aspect of S.T.E.A.M. with guest speakers, hands on projects, daily reading and writing, with some time to exercise their bodies.

A huge thank you to our guest speakers, including Jane A. Malone Center in Chamberlain Park Rec Coordinator Alex, City of Tulsa Gov Communications, ACS Playgrounds, Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance, Gilcrease Museum and MapWorks Tulsa!

Staring Monday, July 20, parts of the Hicks parking lot will be under construction. For the next 9 months, please follow signage and park in the designated areas. We appreciate your cooperation during this much-needed upgrade!

With just a few weeks of Summer Camp left, we wanted to take a look back at some of the fun our campers had so far! Special thanks to Tulsa Parks Tulsa Zoo Bike Club Oxley Nature Center Climb Tulsa Outdoor Classroom - Tulsa Hot Toast Music Co. and many more that helped make this Summer one to remember!

Tulsa Parks Community Centers will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4 for Independence Day. Oxley Nature Center will be open Friday, July 3 during regular hours.

Week 2 of Tulsa Parks Summer Day Camp was so much fun! Nearly 30 kids from the local community got the chance to ride bikes and learn about bike safety from Bike Club and challenged their brains during a decoding exercise! 🚲💕
