A.B.K.A. Fall Training Day is almost here!

Join us right here in Tyler on October 10th for a full day of focused martial arts training at Colonial Hills Baptist Church (7330 S. Broadway, Tyler, Tx 75703). This comprehensive training camp runs from 10 AM to 3 PM and is open to all belt levels for students ages 9 and older.

Brown Belts: It is strongly recommended that you attend this session to properly prepare for your upcoming Brown and Black Belt tests.

10:00 AM: Bo Basics from Manual
11:15 AM: Sword Basics
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch
1:30 PM: Jiujitsu Basics
3:00 PM: Open Rolling

Gear & Equipment Checklist
Karate Gi, plus a set of Shorts/T-shirt/Rashguard
Sparring Gear and Mouth Piece

On October 3rd, we are hosting our upcoming Black Belt Test and Testing Evaluations at the Armory at Parkview Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is a vital opportunity to demonstrate your dedication, refine your technique, and take the next crucial step in your martial arts journey.

Event Schedule

*10:00 AM - Black Belt Test: Come ready to leave it all on the mat, or join us in the audience to support your fellow martial artists as they test for their new ranks.
*1:00 PM - Testing Evaluations: This session is strictly dedicated to preparation, constructive feedback, and official test approvals.

Who Needs to Attend the 1:00 PM Evaluations?

*2nd Brown Belts and Above: If you are seeking expert feedback to prepare for your next step, or if you need your official approval to test for Shodan.
*Current Black Belts (All Levels): If you are aiming for your next degree, you must be evaluated and approved during this afternoon session to be eligible for your upcoming test.

Preparation, focus, and a willingness to grow are the foundations of advancement. Whether you are stepping up to test for your Shodan, seeking the crucial feedback needed to perfect your kata, or coming to support the broader community, bring your best energy.

⏰ When: Every Tuesday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

👥 Who: Ages 12+ | Yellow Belt & Above

💡 What to Expect:

Self-Directed Training: The floor is open from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This is dedicated time to work independently on forms, technique, conditioning, or personal goals.

Instructor Guidance: Instructors will be on the floor training and available to offer tips, corrections, and guidance throughout the evening (please keep in mind this is open-format floor time, not structured one-on-one private lessons).

Advanced & Black Belt Training: This session also doubles as instructor training time, offering valuable practice and development for all ranks through black belt.

Plenty of Space: Ample room to move, drill, and push your limits.
