π₯ Calling all University of Arizona students! π
It's happening! A few UA students have already stepped up wanting to start a Taekwondo Club on campus. Now we just need a few more people to make it official.
To register with the University, we need:
β
3 UA students as founding board members (President, VP, Treasurer): we've got some interest already, just need to lock it in
β
5 total additional student members to meet the University's club registration requirement
Whether you're a current TKD Wellness student heading to campus this fall, a black belt looking to stay sharp during the school year, or a complete beginner curious about martial arts, this is your chance to get in early on a collegiate Taekwondo program, gain real leadership experience, and be part of something new on campus.
Interested? Comment below or send us a message... we're setting up a short meeting with everyone who wants in to talk through next steps.
Let's build this together. π°π·π₯

Mental skills matter.
Training the body is only part of the work. Focus, breathing, and calm decision-making help martial artists perform better under pressure. Mental skills training builds confidence, sharpens awareness, and supports steady growth on and off the mat.
1. Breathe to reset before action.
2. Visualize the movement before you move.
3. Stay present when pressure rises.

At TKD Wellness, we're not just teaching kicks and blocks, we're building confidence, focus, and resilience that kids carry far beyond the mat.
Our classes blend traditional Taekwondo with evidence-based mental-skills training, so every student walks away with more than a new technique, they walk away with tools for handling pressure, staying focused, and believing in themselves.
