Her emphasis is on teaching her students and their horses the basic skills of riding, including proper balance, straightness and forward movement. Lisa teaches her students to build on the basics of riding which allows them to move up the levels. She also stresses the importance of proper horse care and communication between horse and rider, on the ground and in the saddle. Her favorite saying is "Communicate with your horse in a way that he/she can understand you." Her students are always in the ribbons and have won several Area X year end awards such as Beginner Novice, Novice and Training horse of the year! School horses are available on a limited basis.
