LWS XIX is introducing our first-ever Youth Grey Belt Grand Prix!

We are searching for talented young competitors to represent the boys’ and girls’ divisions live on the LWS stage.

Eligible competitors include:

🥋 Grey-and-white belts
🥋 Solid grey belts
🥋 Grey-and-black belts

Each Grand Prix champion will receive:

🏆 An official LWS Championship Belt
💰 A $250 cash prize

We want to create the safest, fairest and most competitive brackets possible. Final selections will be based on age, weight, belt level and competition experience—not simply who applies first.

Athletes who are not selected for the Grand Prix may still be matched in individual LWS superfights, so we encourage every interested youth grey belt to apply!

Help us congratulate Tyler Held on an incredible night of performances! 🔥🏆

Tyler came ready to compete and delivered all night long, battling his way through a stacked tournament field to capture the $1,000 tournament purse.

But the night became even bigger—Tyler also made LWS history by becoming our FIRST 175 lb Black Belt No-Gi Champion! 🏆

Congratulations to Tyler and his academy on an outstanding accomplishment. We’re proud to have him as our champion and excited to see what the future holds for this talented young man.

Peyton put on an incredible performance Saturday night against a very game Andrea Valenzuela. Both athletes came ready to compete and gave our crowd an amazing championship match.

In the end, Peyton was able to secure the armbar and officially become our new LWS 125 lb Female Gi Champion! 🏆

Peyton, we’re proud to have you representing LWS as our champion. You earned that belt, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish from here.

However, because of the rotating nature of our audience throughout the event, we are able to continue selling tickets as space becomes available.

⚠️ IMPORTANT REENTRY & SEATING INFORMATION
Reentry is at your own risk. All seating is GENERAL ADMISSION and seats cannot be reserved or held. If you leave the theater, we cannot guarantee that your seat—or another seat—will be available when you return. Please plan accordingly.

🔹 Spectator & Crowd PhotographyStands Only: Fans are welcome to take photos using handheld, non-professional cameras or phones directly from the stands.No Field/Floor Access: General spectators are strictly prohibited from approaching the mat barricades to take photos.Gear Restrictions: No tripods, monopods, or detachable telephoto lenses are allowed in the spectator seating area.
🔹 Approved Media Pass Holders (Mat-Side)Stay Seated/Kneeling: All approved floor photographers must remain seated or kneeling in designated media zones. Do not stand up or obstruct the view of referees or medical staff.Strictly No Flash: Flash photography is banned during active matches. It blinds the athletes and disrupts the referee’s vision.
