This month, we’re taking you through some simple, popular line dances and building our way up to a few that are a little more challenging! 💃🕺
Whether you’re brand new to line dancing or already know your way around the floor, you’ll get to learn dances you’ll actually recognize and see out at the socials!

🌩️ September is bringing a little bit of everything to the Invictus dance floor! 💃🕺
⁉️ What’s new this month? ⤵️
🤠 For the first time EVER, we’re teaching Country Swing! Join us Mondays at 7pm as we start with Intro, then progress through Beginner and Intermediate levels throughout the month. If you’ve been wanting to try Country Swing, September is the perfect time to jump in!
✨ Tuesdays are bringing another new progressive series with Samba at 6:45pm! We’ll start slow then work our way through Beginner and Intermediate.
❔️What’s happening each week? ⤵️
🤠 Line Dance is still going strong Wednesday’s at 6pm (check out our other post for the dances being taught).
💃 Wednesdays are Westie Wednesdays! Join us at 7pm for West Coast Swing, followed by our WCS Social at 8pm.
🎯 Thursdays continue with our group class reviews & practice at 6pm. We’ll be working through Footwork, Class Review, and Technique sessions to help you build stronger fundamentals and become a more confident dancer.
💫 At 7pm on Thursdays, we’ll be learning Waltz, starting with Intro and progressing through Beginner and Intermediate levels throughout the month!
🎉 And of course, our Tuesday Dance Socials continue at 7:30pm—come practice, socialize, and put all those new skills to use!
🌴 Special event! ⤵️
💃 Join us September 12th from 1pm–3pm for our Second Saturday Salsa Siesta! Come dance, socialize, and enjoy a fun afternoon with the Invictus community.
🏆 We’ll also be hitting the road for South Bay Dance Fling Labor Day weekend so the studio will be closed, but during Dance Fiesta Albuquerque September 25 & 26th we will be open by appointment.
🔥 New dance styles, new challenges, and plenty of reasons to get on the floor. Whether you’re brand new or ready to level up, September is going to be a good one!
