Just a snippet from an adult basic horsemanship lesson.. It's only his second lesson! Daniel's seat is more relaxed today. He's looking around his turns, heels are staying down, and he's able to guide his horse independantly, away from the instructor's horse. Great job!! 🤠🐴

During our slower (extra toasty) season, our wranglers exercise the horses early in the morning while it's cool. This keeps them fit and ready for you to ride!. Yes, some of the wranglers have a running dialog with the horses, especially when riding alone. 😜 Who needs a therapist when you have a horse?!

The first horse is Jett, being an excellent boy as he walks home on a loose rein. Wild Bill is next, being a bit wiggly and then settling in. It has turned incredibly green from the monsoons and he is being reminded to refrain from eating as we ride, no matter how delicious it looks. 😁
