Athletes, if you want a grip that feels absolutely lethal, start training your hands like you train everything else.

Hex Dumbbell holds are a simple way to build serious strength through your fingers, hands, wrists, and forearms.

Grab the head of a hex dumbbell, squeeze hard, and hold it for time. No straps. No shortcuts. Just pure grip strength.

A stronger grip means better control, more force, and a harder time getting anything ripped out of your hands.

Build the grip. Own the competition.

Due to lightning and thunderstorms in the area, today’s assessment has been rescheduled for tomorrow.
We apologize for the inconvenience

If you’re a youth or high school football player and you stop training once the season starts, you’re leaving a major part of your development on the table.

And parents: playing games and going to practice doesn’t replace strength training. The right in-season program helps athletes maintain the strength, power, size and durability they worked all offseason to build.

Here are 6️⃣ things football players should be doing IN-SEASON:

1. Squats β€” Keep your legs strong and explosive throughout the season.
2. Face Pulls β€” Keep your shoulders and rear delts strong and stable for the contact and collisions you take every week.
3. Forward Banded Lunges β€” Football is played one leg at a time. Lunges build unilateral strength, stability and power. These are a non-negotiable.
4. Lat Pulldowns β€” Players can lose weight as the season progresses. Keeping your legs and back strong can help maintain muscle mass, size and bodyweight throughout the season.
5. Biceps + Triceps Supersets β€” Keep arm work in your program throughout the week to maintain strong, full arms that are ready for contact.
6. Rotational Core Work β€” Rotational strength and power are non-negotiable for football players. Movements like wood choppers train athletes to produce and control force through the core.

Never train without training your core.

In-season training isn’t about exhausting an athlete or chasing PRs. It’s about maintaining what you built, staying strong and being physically prepared to perform every gameday.

The offseason builds you. The season is where you maintain it.
