It’s THAT time of year 🥵

THIS IS WHY WE DRAW BACK!! 🩸 I have given thousands of IM injections to horses. I Draw back every time. This is why. You should not get blood back. First time I’ve ever got a vessel, and I could remove the injection and transfer to another site. If this was penicillin, and it was injected, this horse would be dead, and handlers potentially gravely injured. I don’t usually ask people to share my posts, but it would be nice if you could share this because you rarely see such a great example of this. 05/11/2026
