😂 We never wanted to make this post…

But seriously—there’s one thing he’ll never get tired of:

Watching a brand-new student take their very first class. 🥋

The nerves when they walk in.
The first punch.
The first kick.
That moment they realize, “Wait… I can actually do this!”

And then seeing that confidence start to grow from class to class? That’s the real power of martial arts.

So no, KJN Ben is not getting fired anytime soon. 😉
But he is going to keep showing up to watch as many new students discover what they’re capable of.

Parents—do you remember your child’s very first martial arts class? What did they think afterward? 👇

Think tournaments are only for the “really good” students? 🥋👀

That might be exactly why your child should experience one.

Competition isn't just about winning medals. It's about giving students a reason to practice, pushing themselves outside their comfort zone, learning how to handle pressure, and discovering what they're capable of.

And for beginners, that first tournament can be a BIG step. ❤️

Because sometimes the biggest growth happens when we simply give our students the opportunity to step up and try.

🥊 Dodgeball Tournament — October 17
🏆 Martial Arts Tournaments — October 18 & 19

Don't wait until they're “ready.” Help them become ready by challenging them.

Parents, here’s a question worth asking your kids:

What happens when you give your BEST effort?

Not perfect effort.

Not “when I feel like it” effort.

Just your best.

Because we can’t control every result.

We can’t control how fast we improve.

We can’t control whether something is easy or difficult.

But we CAN control our effort. 🥋

And the effort we put in today has a huge impact on the results we get tomorrow.

🔥Huge congratulations to Ryder Chaves, who completed 10,170 sit-ups throughout the month! 🏆

But Ryder wasn't alone—our students collectively completed 36,090 sit-ups! 👏🥋

Proud of the effort, determination, and commitment our students showed all month long. Way to work! 💪🔥

One of the most important things we can teach our students is that they don't have to be perfect — they just have to be willing to try.

In karate, effort might look like trying a technique one more time, listening a little more carefully, or staying focused when something feels difficult.

Those small choices add up.
