I have been riding horses my whole life.
Starting by going on rides in my dads arms as a baby until I came of age to sit in my own saddle and control my own horse. I started western only competing in gymkhanas, with a filly i was putting training on at the age of 6. Come the age of 8 i started light work in the English saddle. At the age of 9 I began competing through Pima County 4H. I competed in gymkhanas as well as western and Englis

There is absolutely no room for tearing someone down to make yourself feel bigger. We believe there is enough room in this sport for everyone to learn, grow, make mistakes, succeed, and find their place.

Welcome Home, Juniper 🌿🐴
Meet Juniper — our newest member here at Outlaw
Her freeze brand is 07181332, which is like a VIN number on a car. By researching her freeze brand we learned she is estimated to be born in 2007! She is a blue roan mare with a single face whorl and white markings on both hind pasterns.
Juniper was part of the New Pass–Ravenswood herd in Austin, Nevada. She was estimated to be just a yearling when she was captured in November of 2007 and brought to Ridgecrest, California. She was adopted on April 19, 2008, and was not adopted through a BLM Mustang Competition program.
Somewhere between 2008 and 2026, Juniper lived a life we know very little about. I don’t know where she has been, who owned her, or everything she experienced along the way. At some point, someone loved her and we intend to show her that same love. ❤️
She has had some but minimal training and is rideable, but she struggles with direction and understanding cues. Right now, her biggest challenge is rebuilding her body.
At some point, Juniper didn’t receive the care she needed. She came to us with very little muscle and very little fat on her body. She is thin, weak, and has a long road ahead of her.
But she’s here now. 🥹
Working closely with our vet, we’re going to give Juniper the time, nutrition, care, patience, and consistency she needs to come back to life. We aren’t going to rush her. We’re going to let her heal, let her gain strength, build muscle, learn to trust, and discover just how good life can be.
We’re excited to watch this mare blossom and grow into the horse she was always meant to be. 🌿
