Today’s lesson was all about balance and building an independent seat! 🐴✨

My student learned an important riding lesson: your stirrups and saddle are there to support you, not to hold you on the horse. To help develop this understanding, she rode ba****ck today and did a fantastic job focusing on her balance, position, and connection with her horse.

When riders rely too much on their stirrups or saddle to stay on, it can create tension and instability. Learning to ride from your seat and core helps build confidence, improves communication with the horse, and creates a stronger, more secure rider overall.

So proud of her hard work and willingness to step outside her comfort zone to become a better horsewoman! 💙🐎
