Bred, raised, and started by the same family, Jack is now looking for his next home as his owners have decided to step away from horses.

Jack has been given a nice, basic foundation and is ready for someone to take him in whatever direction they choose. He has been tracking calves in the arena, had a few pen roped on him, and shows plenty of natural cow sense. Whether you want to develop one for ranch versatility, western dressage, roping, or simply a really nice all-around gelding, Jack has a great start.

Outside of the arena, Jack confidently rides out on the trails alone, goes where he is pointed, and handles our trail obstacles well. He is willing, sensible, and genuinely seems to enjoy having a job.

For only being 3 years old, Jack has impressed us during the four weeks he has been here. He does not need to be ridden every day to stay manageable and has shown us no vices. He saddles up quietly, is great for the farrier, loads and backs off the trailer, is easy to catch, and has an adorable personality to go along with his looks.

Jack is still a young, unfinished horse, and we want to be very clear about that. While he has been gentle and uncomplicated for us, he has been handled and ridden by professionals and is not being represented as suitable for a beginner or small child at this stage of his training. With continued training, exposure, and maturity, we absolutely believe he has the temperament and potential to become that kind of horse down the road.

If youโ€™re looking for a young gelding with a good mind, a solid start, cow sense, and the versatility to mold into your own, Jack is a really fun prospect.

Heโ€™ll ride out alone or in a group and has been exposed to tarps, wagons, ropes, dogs, goats, cattle, and plenty of commotion without being bothered. He is ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐š๐›๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ž๐ซ ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ฌ as long as theyโ€™re confident with a faster paced walk!

Harley was owned for several years by an older gentleman who used him as a backup ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ก ๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž. He has moved cattle, loaded semis, and roped cattle in the pasture. He has also been left off for ๐ž๐ฑ๐ญ๐ž๐ง๐๐ž๐ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐๐ฌ, saddled back up, and ๐ซ๐ข๐๐๐ž๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ. Weโ€™ve hauled him to roping practice, where he ๐ก๐š๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐š๐ญ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ž and helped bring cattle up to the roping chute. With additional training, he may even have ๐ฉ๐จ๐ญ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐š๐ฅ as an arena rope horse.

While Harley isnโ€™t a big-time arena horse, he has all the ๐›๐ฎ๐ญ๐ญ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ the average rider ๐ฐ๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ. He knows both leads, has a ๐ฉ๐ก๐ž๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ง๐ž๐œ๐ค ๐ซ๐ž๐ข๐ง, decent stop and spin, and weโ€™ve even loped him around ๐›๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ž-๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ.

Harley is ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐œ๐ก, an ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ฒ ๐ค๐ž๐ž๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ, and has shown us ๐ง๐จ ๐ฏ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ฌ while in our program. Harley is UTD on Coggins and vaccinations and currently wears basic front shoes for our rocky trail terrain. He does have scarring on his right hind leg from getting tangled in a panel as a 2-year-old. It is fully healed but cosmetically visible. Sire is a Bob Acres Doc stud Out of a running bred mare but selling grade.
We were told AQHA wonโ€™t give papers on him because the stud was never panel tested.

He is stupid fast and athletic, and will be a bigger type build.
