Towanda Girls Varsity Soccer – Youth Recognition Night

The Towanda Girls Varsity Soccer team will be hosting Youth Recognition Night on Tuesday, September 22nd at 6 PM.

All youth soccer players get in free — please make sure they wear their jersey.

The first 100 youth players to arrive will receive a free soccer ball, which can be signed by the Varsity team after the game.

At halftime, all youth players will be invited to walk out onto the field and be recognized by the crowd.

Come out and support the Towanda Girls Varsity Soccer Team and help us celebrate the future of Towanda soccer.

Congratulations to Team Buford for placing 2nd in the U12 tournament for the Girls division. They ended up going to Golden Goal and lost in the last 7 seconds of the second overtime.

We have been monitoring the weather forecast all morning. It looks like it could start raining at game time especially for the 9am games. Soccer is a fall sport and we do, at times, play in the rain.

With that being said, today's U6/U8 games are postponed.

Some kids love playing in the rain but some don't. We also worry about the fields getting messy if it is raining hard and we are playing on them.

Sorry for any inconveniences. Thank you for your understanding.
