Pops and I were out and about on the new Kansas ground today, filling feeders and getting some clover in the ground before this rain hits. 🌧️🦌

Then look what we found… a really nice 8-point matching shed! 🤘🏼 I’d say we better go buy a Powerball ticket too! 😂

And would you believe me if I told you we actually ran over both sheds in tall grass with the side-by-side and didn’t even pop a tire?! 🤣

I’d say luck was definitely on our side today! And i got a new rattling pair!🍀🦌

Well boys and girls, I didn’t tag out on my elk trip. It was a pretty tough hunt, and the elk just weren’t talking quite yet.

I had a couple of close calls, including what I’m guessing was a 350-inch-plus bull we got into at last light yesterday. Unfortunately, he just wouldn’t give me a shot at 35 yards.

That’s hunting, and sometimes it just doesn’t work out. Hopefully whitetail season treats me a little better! 🦌

Regardless of filling a tag, I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to spend time in God’s country and enjoy every minute of it. Until next time, Montana! 🏔️
