Cheese Days 2026 is in the books!!
Cheese Days began in 1919 as a nod to Toledo’s once-thriving dairy industry. Back then, local creameries produced butter and cheddar for the region. Today? There’s not a single cheese plant in town. The only curd-related operation within 20 miles is the guy that smokes string cheese on his traeger that he proudly purchased with Zyn points.
And yet, every July, the town still throws its full weight behind this dairy dream: parades, royalty, polka music, a car show, deep-fried everything. Cheese as symbol, not substance.
