As our historic season came to an end on Saturday, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who played a role in this incredible journey.

First and foremost, thank you to our amazing parents. You were truly the support staff behind this team, handling countless responsibilities away from the field so our players and coaches could focus on the game. Your dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering support did not go unnoticed.

Thank you to the businesses and individuals who donated time, money, meals, and resources throughout the season. You helped make this experience about so much more than baseball.

To Coaches Fossbind and Schild, there simply aren't enough words to describe what you brought to this program. Your commitment, knowledge, and passion helped make this season one for the record books.

To our players, you embodied what can happen when a group commits to a common goal and plays with heart. You feared no opponent and never backed down from a challenge. The grit, determination, and belief you showed all season was remarkable.

And to the Tillamook community, there is no better place in Oregon. Whether we were home or on the road, you packed the stands and made your presence known. Looking into the crowd at Keizer Stadium and seeing the sea of red and black was a moment I'll never forget. Outside of my own family, it ranks among the most memorable experiences of my life.

While the outcome fell just short of our ultimate goal, you gave these young men an experience they will carry with them forever.

What this team accomplished was truly special. As a #12 seed, these players defeated the #2, #5, and #1 ranked teams before taking #3 all the way to the seventh inning in a one-run state championship game. Not only is that historic for Tillamook Baseball, it may be one of the most impressive playoff runs in Oregon high school baseball history.

Thank you all for believing in these young men and supporting them every step of the way.

⚾️Championship Game Day⚾

Today is about more than a baseball game.

It's about years of dedication, sacrifice, and hard work. It's about the little boys who first picked up a glove and dreamed of moments like this. It's about the countless practices, batting cages, road trips, summer tournaments, and hours spent chasing a goal that probably felt a long way off at the time.

This team didn't arrive at the State Championship by accident.

They earned it.

They earned it through perseverance when things got hard. Through trusting each other. Through learning from losses and refusing to quit. Through showing up every day ready to work, whether anyone was watching or not.

Many of these players have grown up together. They've shared victories, heartbreaks, laughter, and challenges. They have become more than teammates, they have become brothers.

Today, they have the opportunity to do something special. Not just for themselves, but for every coach who invested in them, every parent who spent countless hours supporting them, every youth coach who helped build their foundation and every young player in Tillamook who dreams of one day wearing a Cheesemaker uniform.

No matter what happens when the final out is recorded, this group has already left its mark on our program and our community.

Today, they play for a championship.

Today, they play for each other.

And today, an entire community stands behind them.

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP BOUND!

The Tillamook Cheesemakers are headed to the State Championship!

With a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Henley in the State Semifinals, the boys punched their ticket to Saturday's championship game.

This team continues to show incredible grit, determination, and heart. We couldn't be more proud.

Thank you to our families, fans, alumni, and the entire Tillamook community for your unwavering support throughout this incredible postseason run.

One more game. One more opportunity.

⚾️ Off to Klamath Falls! ⚾️

Today, we hit the road to Klamath Falls for the next round of the playoffs against Henley tomorrow!

Before leaving town, the team was treated to an incredible send-off through Tillamook. Seeing our community line the streets, wave signs, and cheer us on was something special.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and show what it means to be part of the Tillamook community. Your encouragement and pride mean more than you know.

The boys are ready for the challenge ahead and proud to represent Tillamook every step of the way.

The postseason continues as your Tillamook Cheesemakers host Estacada TODAY in the OSAA Quarterfinals at Randy Schild Field! 🔥💪

First Pitch: 2:00 PM

There will be an OSAA-required ticket gate for today’s game. Fans are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets online using the QR code provided in the attached graphic.

Spectator parking access will be through the bowling alley parking lot via 3rd Street. Please review the attached parking map before arriving.

And now… an important message from our baseball parents 😂⚾

At this point in the season, superstition levels are EXTREMELY high. Everyone has officially established their “spot” in the stands, along the fence, or somewhere near the snack shack and respectfully, please do not interfere 💀

If someone asks you to move because:
• “We scored when you were standing over there”
• “The rally started after I switched seats”
• “You can’t leave now, we’re on a run”
• or “We haven’t lost since I stood in this exact location”

…please just trust the process 😂

We are no longer questioning baseball superstition. We are fully embracing it.
