Here is all the season club info.
A couple things:
As always, the club is open to kids from any school. We went to a monthly fee this year so that in the event your kid doesn’t want to wrestle, gets hurt, or any other reason they can’t be on the mat, you’re not out the large season fee.
Beginners WILL have more opportunities for mat time in season, I just cannot announce those yet until the logistics are sorted out.
WHY you should train with us, and WHAT to expect on a youth level in the advanced group. The advanced group practices are very structured and we do things a certain way. If you want your kid to develop real, essential skills of wrestling that will translate throughout their entire career - this is where you train. The difference between our practices and a normal school club is the structure of the practice. They will learn, they will develop. Don’t expect mess around time at these workouts. (Yes we might play a game here and there)
At the high school/junior high level - we work and train positions. Contested reps, movement, positional awareness, diversifying offense, several levels of defense. The workouts are hard, but you will improve. Do not join this club to “learn new moves”, join this club to get better at wrestling.
If there’s any questions, shoot me a message. I will explain, and answer a lot of questions at the parents meeting. Yes, the parents meeting is also at the wrestling room.
Looking forward to getting after it.
