SENIOR SPOTLIGHT | TAYLER PENNER 🦅
For four years, Tayler Penner has been part of the Templeton Football program. Wearing #8, he brings tremendous versatility to the Eagles as a defensive back/safety, wide receiver, and kicker.
Coach Crow says Tayler’s “improvement has made a big impact on the team” and notes that he “plays multiple positions and contributes on both offense and defense.”
That versatility has been on full display throughout a phenomenal senior season. Whether he’s kicking, catching passes, or making plays on defense, Tayler continues to find ways to make an impact and contribute in every phase of the game.
When asked about his favorite football experience, Tayler shared, “My favorite experience from football is the energy our team had before walking onto the field for the CIF Championship against Immanuel.”
Beyond what he brings on Friday nights, Tayler has a genuine love for the game, his teammates, and the Templeton Football program. He is a great player and an even better young man.
Four years in green and white, one final season under the Friday Night Lights, and Tayler is making every opportunity count.
