I’m so proud of our Lokahi students performances this weekend at the Oceanside Jiu Jitsu Academy in-house tournament. It was the first tournament for four of you, and you all did amazing! Showing up and testing yourselves in an uncomfortable environment is not easy, but you all showed courage and resilience to push through and do well.

Ben’s journey is what consistency and commitment look like. 💪

• Almost 2 years training at Lokahi Jiu Jitsu
• Started at 275 lbs ➡️ now 220 lbs and still dropping
• Showing up, staying disciplined, and trusting the process

It’s more than just weight loss…
It’s about building a healthier lifestyle, staying active, and surrounding yourself with the right people.

Ben stayed consistent with:
🔥 Clean eating
🔥 Staying motivated
🔥 Pushing to keep up with training partners
🔥 Building friendships on the mats

And the biggest shift?
➡️ Moving from brute strength to technique
➡️ Staying calm under pressure
