Fun Fact! Leonor originally wore this beautiful white dress in 1986 when she rode Ensueño de Colombia. Yes folks, that's right 40 years ago. Although we had to revive the skirt a bit, no other alterations were made! Hannah Reid Burgin said "From a distance, and without my glasses, Tia Leonor looked 25"! Lol .com

Please join me in celebrating Marcela Iriarte’s great accomplishments in Manta Ecuador. It doesn’t seem that long ago that she retired and moved to Ecuador and you could just about count on Tuesday morning receiving photos of her toes in the sand while she watched whales. It became such a joke that I finally had to say I’m gonna need you to stop sending me pictures of your toes in the sand because some of us are still in the thick of things here. It didn’t take her long before she found her calling down there, and now today she’s being recognized for her great volunteer efforts and establishing a library in the school and collecting books for the kids in this community of Manta.its fun to see how much she’s been able to gather the community in a common effort to improve literacy for the school children. The article talks about her love for Paso Finos and education. It reminds us that all the hard work of working with horses instilled a strong work ethic that continues to bring joy and fulfillment to our lives! We are extremely proud of you Marcela. Keep up the great work.
