Last year, Spectrum News 13 joined us to share the story of the annual Lake County Waterways Cleanup and the difference this community effort continues to make. 💧

At the time of this report, more than 14,000 pounds of trash had been removed through this event since 2019. That is an incredible impact made by volunteers who care about our lakes and wildlife.

Now it’s time to do it again! Join us this Saturday, September 19, from 8–11 a.m. Adventure Outdoor Paddle will be helping at the Wooton Park West Boat Ramp and offering free use of our kayaks to cleanup volunteers.

Kayaks are limited and available first come, first served. Call us at 352-217-5012 if you would like to request one in advance. You can also bring your own boat or help from shore.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, along with Lake County and municipalities, will host the annual waterway cleanup on Saturday.

💍 A little schedule update for today!

Adventure Outdoor Paddle will be closing early at 12:30 PM so we can celebrate two awesome people from our partner company, Jones Brothers Air and Seaplane Adventures, as they tie the knot!

We’re officially ONE WEEK away from the Lake County Waterways Cleanup! 💧🛶

Adventure Outdoor Paddle is proud to support this year’s cleanup at the Wooton Park West Boat Ramp in Tavares. We’ll be offering free use of our kayaks to volunteers who want to help collect litter from the water.

What a fun Fly Out Paddle In adventure today! ✈️🛶

We had a wonderful group of four adventurers join us, two great couples who were an absolute joy to spend the day with. After taking in the Harris Chain of Lakes from above with Jones Brothers Air and Seaplane Adventures, they landed on the water and paddled back with us through the beautiful Dora Canal.

Lots of laughs, beautiful scenery, and plenty of Wild Florida along the way. We couldn’t have asked for a better group!

Thanks for flying and paddling with us today. We hope these photos bring back some wonderful memories from your adventure in America’s Seaplane City! 💙

Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸 We’re open today!

The rain has already passed through this morning, and although the skies may look a little gloomy, cloudy days can make for some of the best paddling. Less heat, softer light and a peaceful journey beneath the cypress trees of the Dora Canal. 🌿🛶

We’ll continue watching the weather throughout the day, but right now we’re ready to paddle!

Today, we’re especially thankful for all the hardworking people who help keep our communities and country going. We hope you enjoy a well-earned day of rest and adventure!

Such a peaceful start to our Sunday on the Dora Canal! We loved paddling with these two lovely ladies, spotting lots of wildlife and enjoying the quiet before the holiday weekend crowds got going. Thanks so much for paddling with us! 🛶🌿💙

Don’t let a rainy Florida forecast count out the whole weekend! 🌦️🛶

Mornings are often our best paddling window, with calmer water, cooler temperatures, and storms developing later in the day. We monitor local conditions closely and always put safety first.

We’re open Friday through Labor Day Monday for guided Dora Canal tours, kayak and paddle board rentals, and our new Paddle, Dock, and Dine experience.
