Putting the Fitzgerald Fishing stunner hd to work today! We hunted hard for 2 days looking for the right one. Passed up plenty of 8-10’ gators looking for a 🦕. We killed a solid 12 footer for our first of 4 tags.

I posted this video last week and had plenty of comments about catching the triple tail first then saving the turtle. In our part of the gulf we see undersized triple tail like the ones in the video daily. One the other had the turtle is a hawksbill. Through some research this turtle is a once in a lifetime animal. Less then 83,000 of them are left in the world. So the odds are me and everyone on the boat that day will never see one again.
