Reducing Inflammation and Restoring Energy with Dr. Lauren Leiva Moms Convo presents a special three-part series: Return to Coherenc...
Motherhood is one of the greatest expressions of nature.
Today I watched a tree being cut down. As it fell, a squirrelâs nest crashed to the ground. In an instant, the mother squirrel appeared. There was no hesitation. No panic. No wondering if she had enough energy. She simply became exactly what she needed to become.
A mother.
She searched. She gathered. She protected. Every fiber of her being shifted toward saving her babies.
It stopped me in my tracks.
Then my mind wandered to the fields Iâve watched disappear⌠burned or cleared to make way for another car wash, another shopping center, another convenience. I couldnât help but wonder how many nests never get found. How many mothersâbirds, squirrels, rabbits, foxes, turtles, and countless othersâare thrust into survival with no chance to save what they love most.
Itâs heartbreaking.
Yet it also reminded me that motherhood isnât limited to humans. It is woven into creation itself. It is instinct. It is sacrifice. It is fierce love in its purest form.
Maybe thatâs the yin and yang of this human experience.
We witness extraordinary beauty and profound loss, often in the very same moment.
The same world that reveals the unstoppable power of a motherâs love can also reveal how fragile life truly is.
Today I left with a heavier heart, but also a deeper reverenceâfor mothers everywhere, whether they walk on two legs, four legs, fly through the sky, or climb the tallest trees.
May we build a world that honors both life and the wild love that fights so hard to protect it. đ¤

As more people gathered, the vibrations only became stronger. We closed todayâs experience with an incredible Q&A about frequency, sound, the nervous system, and the deeper purpose of yoga. I canât always stay afterward for such a long discussion, but today felt divinely timed, and I loved diving deeper with all of you.
If youâve been curious about slowing down, resetting your nervous system, and experiencing the power of sound healing for yourself, this is your invitation.

The Queenâs Advice đ: Donât Buy Followers. Build Trust.
Today I was scanning Instagram accounts with one of my mentees, showing them what to look for. Many times, social media is smoke and mirrors.
A huge following doesnât always mean a huge impact.
When you start looking closely, youâll sometimes notice accounts with hundreds of thousandsâor even millionsâof followers, but very little genuine engagement. Other times the comments donât seem authentic or the engagement patterns donât match the audience.
Could some of it be real? Absolutely.
Could some of it be purchased? Also yes.
My advice? Donât pay for followers, likes, or comments.
If someone even offers to âgiftâ you a few thousand followers, Iâd politely ask them not to. Iâd rather earn every single person in my community than wonder whoâs actually here.
Now⌠I do believe in âfake it till you make itâ⌠but not the way social media often defines it. đ
My version is smiling even when life is hard because I know smiling can help shift my physiology. I take deep breaths before I feel calm. I stand tall before I feel confident. I intentionally create the internal chemistry I want to experience.
Thatâs very different from paying for an image that isnât real.
One builds you.
The other builds an illusion.
Keep showing up.
Keep serving.
Keep learning.
Your people will find you.
Because at the end of the day, Iâd rather have 1,000 people who truly care than 100,000 who never wanted to be there in the first place.
đ Authenticity compounds. Integrity scales.
My son wasnât feeling his best today, so I convinced him to do a red light therapy session with me.
I downloaded the audio afterward, and I couldnât stop laughing because I realized I was saying the exact same things I tell my patients every day:
âRelax. Breathe. Your posture matters. Light matters. Your daily habits matter.â
This isnât just something I teachâitâs the way I choose to live.
One thing Iâve learned over the years is to pay attention to whether someoneâs lifestyle aligns with the advice they give. We all have moments of imperfection, but if a health professional consistently doesnât practice the fundamentals they recommend, itâs worth asking why.
Whether itâs food quality, movement, sleep, light exposure, stress management, or the environment we create around ourselves, these choices influence how we feel. The energy we bring into our work often reflects the habits we practice in our own lives.
I believe in leading by example. Thatâs why I strive to live the principles I share with my patientsânot because Iâm perfect, but because I genuinely believe theyâre worth practicing.
Healing isnât about perfection. Itâs about consistency.
